Breakaway backspace plate design
The Bauer Lite plate is designed to support both full and split-backspace options without the normal compromises of your switch being crooked from the lack of proper support. We achieved this with a unique breakaway plate design. By default, the plate supports split-backspace, but just break off the center support with some pliers to use full-backspace!

With your board plugged in, visit to caniusevia.com and select your board to start programming. It is a browser-based program, so you can change your layout anywhere! You can also program your board with QMK.

Plastic parts are made via injection molding, which has the possibility to have small defects that include flow lines, weld lines, warping, sink marks, and jetting.
It’s so nice to see the quality of beginner boards being raised to such a high standard. Lots of customisation options, good instructions, great product overall. If you’re a beginner looking for your first custom, this is a great option (just make sure you’re okay with winkeyless 65% layout).

This was my first time building a mechanical keyboard, and I had a blast! The instructional booklet was incredibly helpful; the visual guide was clear and easy to understand. For a first-time builder, this experience definitely gave me a positive first impression of the hobby overall. Can't wait to build more, although my wallet won't be as happy, lol.
Missing from the picture: the spacebar, since the one I had was too small *face palm*
This was a fantastic introduction to something that I am finding emence pleasure in. Since my purchase I have made a few others in varying dificulties.
This one however was my favorite to build. If I could make one change it would only be the control keys placement, I found it odd and found myself hitting the windows key gaming so much. If not for that this would be perfect I love this kb keep up to good work guys

I just wanted to let you know that you can easily reprogram the board to move control or the windows keys wherever you want it to be, if you are not into the R3 placement that comes default on the board. Everything from the packaging, to build instructions, to build execution and use have all been better than expected. I'd be happy to add another Bauer Lite to the collection.
My favourite board to date. Everything from the packaging to the design to the easy to follow build process and ultimately the final usable product is all awesome and a great building experience. I love you omnitype.
This is a great feeling keyboard with awesome aesthetics. The Ghost version is really cool to show off the internals, especially with the colored add-ons that are now available.
Build was easy. Looks great and has a great sound profile, Matched it up with Permafrost.
The building process was easy and I was happy with my build. As a gamer I usually gravitate towards Hall effect keyboards, but I wanted a custom keyboard that felt and looked good. Bauer Lite ended up being a really good pick up and I look forward to seeing more options.
The atomic Bauer lite that I ordered has been such a great pickup! From the nice packaging to the organized build guide the whole experience was great. The fun color, keycaps, and sound signature has made typing work emails actually enjoyable! This keyboard is an absolute delight and the price is great!
I had an issue with interference on the 7 and 8 keys, due to leftover injection mold marks in the top case. Was able to resolve it with minimal sanding. Still a great board for a good price. It looks good, sounds good, and feels good. Out of my 8 or so boards, it's pretty much living on my desk now.
